How Many Times?

Ever since 911 people in the West always make the statement, 'Muslims must denounce acts of terrorism', as if Muslims have done no such thing nor can any record of such denounciations be found. Juan Cole has a rather extensive page on his blog where he enumerates in detail those places where unequivocal condemnatory statements have been made by Muslims the world over. One link in particular that I like contains over 100 references from the average 'Abdullah' in the street to the Muslim scholar who says explicitly that acts of terror in the name of Islam are wrong. That link is here:

I don't know if either of these two will help dissemble the myth of the absence of Muslim revulsion to terrorism or not, but they are certainly on record for all to see and read.
